Re: PLZ Help - 2005/01/02 18:57 I dont see why you need to learn NASM then. Certainly I feel its a better assembler, but thats just my opinion =]. If TASM works for you, then you dont need to touch NASM. In the end they both generate machine code.... :/

edit: and, to answer your question (hehe =]), I dont know of a utility that does this. I know there are utilities that convert from AT&T syntax to Intel syntax (and another one to make the trip the other way), but I dont know of any for TASM->NASM.

Re: PLZ Help - 2005/01/03 17:57 I've only ever used nasm syntax (well probably looked at and made a hello world program in other syntaxs years ago but on the whole only nasm) so I don't know what the differences are but if you haven't all ready done so check to see how similar they are as they may be almost identical in many respects.

Like the person before it's useful to be able to read nasm as example asm code is often writen in a style nasm would understand but in the end if you are happy with tasm theres no reason why you can't use it instead.

Re: PLZ Help - 2005/09/16 15:30 Isn't tasm an older compiler from a few years back now, not supporting mmx, sse, 64-bit ? Not too sure about this one...never used tasm in anyway...
