Re: osdev.org - 2004/10/24 13:11 Just checked and osdev.org is back at long last below is what they say about the recent problems.

"We're just getting started back up after losing our old server so please be patient until the site is completely functional. Already we have a much improved message board(forum) with all the features that have been requested over the last year."

The web ring of theres points to the right site and looks right but the database of sites is still missing, so the links and projects page are empty and they only have the forum and a couple of tutorials so far (appears to have lost majority of old info or not yet ported majority of old info inc forum posts).

Also bonafide seem to have returned after being down last time I looked.

Re: osdev.org - 2004/10/31 04:39 The new OSDEV.ORG looks better than beofre and seems that it will be much usable. Of course, after all sections are enabled.

Re: osdev.org - 2005/02/16 08:32 Been taking a while for them to update there site however. Still no links or projects page when I last looked and they were the biggest reason I visited to find out about whats happening in the OS world. So far not much more than there forum up so hopeing they will get there act together soon.
Would be good to restart there projects and links pages as there were a few old/dead links beginning to appear so starting afresh would be good just hope it would be possible to start adding the sites to the links again.

The server has now been down for maintanance for several days. Maybe they're adding some sections right now..

Re: osdev.org - 2005/02/20 18:43 I hope your right, still down when I last checked. With this amount of down time I hope they have a whole new site design and over haul. But would be glad just to see it back to the state it was before the recent changes.

Re: osdev.org - 2005/02/27 18:33 OSdev.org is back. However dispite the long downtime the wiki, links and projects pages are still not yet running. So not quite sure if anything has been changed during the downtime.

Re: osdev.org - 2005/02/28 08:54 Yep, it looks like they really just had some technical problems and didn't change anything. It has now almost been half a year (-> 18.10.04 according to their news section) since the site went back online and I slowly start wondering why it takes that long to update it.
Chase can't possible be busy for such a long periode of time ?
