Quiet Forums - 2007/04/20 07:59
Just a quick note, seeing a number of posts lately from people with questions not getting any replys i thought it would be a good idea to highlight a few alternative places to ask questions.
If you don't get a reply on our forums you can try asking at the forums at www.osdev.org
If IRC (chat rooms) are more your thing you can download a program like xchat/mirc or any other IRC(Internet Relay Chat) program of your choice then connect to a couple of channels dedicated to OS development.
Below is the details for one of the more popular channels:
Server: irc.freenode.net
Channel: #osdev
There is also a chat page on the OS development site www.osdever.net
I hope this helps anyone who's been stuck and getting fustrated at the lack of activity here in the last few months. I hope that you will continue to post here and visit the site and we'll get more developers participating.
