Happy new year - 2005/12/30 21:37 Just a short note to wish everyone here a very happy and productive new year.

Hope you all had a good Christmas as well!

What is everyone hoping to happen in 2006?
Personally I would like Macromedia to finally make a 64bit Linux version of flash.
Also seen a few nice video clips of the transparent window features we may get in the next year or so in Linux and Windows (at the moment it's mostly all betas that will only work on a certain kind of hardware and software setup) - Is pointless eye candy worth while? Maybe not but good to impress people.
Other than that just the usual. (I would be very thankfull if I found a lovely girlfriend and got a pay rise, world peace etc etc ... but that might be too much to hope for)

O, and of course some free time so I can do some OS development work after not doing anything for nearly 6 months. Problem is re-learning all the things I was working on and understanding what I was doing to remember and figure out what I've got to do next.

I'm five hours before 2006, but unlike DRF I don't have a "hope list" for the new year.

I wish you all and your loved ones a happy new year full of successes!
